Pima Cotton

A noble material

PIMA COTTON

One of our top priorities was to find a soft, durable fabric to design sustainable products. That is why we have chosen to invest in quality by opting for Pima cotton. By choosing such a sustainable material, we are also reducing our environmental footprint. Our belief is that the apparel industry has a responsibility to take action on climate change, and choosing to use Pima cotton supports that belief. With this factor in mind, our research quickly turned to this soft material that won't pill, warp or stain. Through a revival, we have set ourselves the goal of creating a garment of incomparable quality. As much for our planet through its durability as for the comfort of your children. We didn't want a fabric that bolts, stains, or warps. This is how our research allowed us to discover Pima Cotton.

The endemic Peruvian Pima cotton (Gossypium barbadense) has been cultivated for more than 5,000 years in the north of Peru, more specifically in the Piura region. This cotton is hand-harvested using no pesticides or fertilizers, making it an environmentally friendly material. Pima cotton's combination of tropical climate, rich soil and pure water produces a long and soft fiber, making it one of the best cottons in the world.

This rare cotton of exceptional quality is known as “the silk of the Andes”. Clothing made of Peruvian Pima cotton has the advantage of being highly breathable, heat and moisture resistant, eco-friendly, and hypoallergenic. Perfect for your little ones!
